Very family oriented grocery store. It has pharmacy , deli , florist , butcher and bakery included within the store.
Let me start with Yes, it's not a new mega store, and the aesthetics are a bit lacking BUT it makes up in many other ways! First is MEATS! Carlie's has awesome meats and prices. I almost always get meats here because it's very affordable, fresh and a big variety. Especially hamburger meat! They have the pick 5 and also other meat bundles to choose from. There's a seafood section as well. The next thing that impresses me with this store is.....the non-food items! Yes, I get all my food storage containers here! There's a section as you walk in the store that is full of $1 items and they are not bad! Wash cloths, dish cloths, gloves, socks, brooms, whatever! Then over by the coldcuts is a few aisles of food storage bowls, plates, containers. All different sizes and shapes. I have bought so many of these because most are just a dollar and if you loose one...you are not out that much! They are pretty durable actually and I have some that are several years old. Now, take it over to the health and beauty section. They have lots of value priced OTC meds, their shampoos and soaps are fairly priced and I LOVE the ladies in the pharmacy. They remember you, they treat you like friends and they are always quick! I am giving this store a 4/5 because I always enjoy my trips there but some items I can find cheaper elsewhere.
I buy my kale here. Great greens, sketchy meat dept. I was sold past pull date sausage; when returning it, the old customer service guy acted like I was at fault. I no longer buy anything but kale here if I can help it.》Updated review: I no longer even buy kale there since they stopped bagging it in large bags.
Very clean and shopper friendly. Excellent bakery and floral department. Great selection of meats. Prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores but they do have some great sale items if you catch their weekly ads
Not the best prices for their products. And the cashiers are okay. But management is horrid. Very distasteful and racist yo ppl of color which makes up a lot of their consumers. Be wary. They will lie on you and kick you out for no reason.and not honor their sales.
