Update 6/21/2017 Lowes got all the right parts had the plumber come out and he reinstalled the water heater. The connections are brass now. It faces forward easy to set up the right temp for me. It all worked out but it took about 10 days. The water heater itself is a good unit. I would buy it again.
Worst customer service of any store that I have ever been in. Can’t ever get anyone on the phone without having to call back multiple times or days. Was once told the manager is in a meeting for the next 3 hours and no one else can talk to me. Always a 10-30 min wait at customer service desk. Even had a cashier tell me one time “you need to have patience to shop here” after we had been waiting 5 minutes for a price check on one item - eventually I had to walk back and get another item myself (with a bar code on it) instead of waiting for the store to figure it out. I could write another 3-5 pages about the issues I’ve had with this store. Unfortunately because they are the only big box retailer in town, people will still shop here. If there was another large competitor, they would probably suffer.
The Assistant Manager David is very pompous and arrogant. The washer and dryer set we bought was delivered and the dryer didn't work. When we talked with David, he was not helpful or concerning about the fact that I didn't have a dryer. He definitely could have cared less about my inconvenience. RIDICULOUS
The customer service here has gone straight to the dogs. The workers have an I don't care attitude. The will lure to you because they are LA a act and don't want to do their job. We now travel to do business in Greenville, Fayetteville and Wilson. Rather past extra than to put up with bad and rude local business in Goldsboro. You aren't the only players in the game.
damaged water heater, installer inexperienced needed help, the plumber was ill, instead of waiting till tomorrow they rushed in and did not have the parts needed, controls are against the walls and can't be seen or reached easy. Very poor service Why not wait 1 day, I felt bad for the installer, he was left alone.
