Okay, our little community pretty much thrives on this plaza. Mar-Mac NC is kind of broken down into two ends. The Old Grantham Road turn off and then down at the fairgrounds and Hwy 13 intersection. So, closer to the fairgrounds end is the Five Points Plaza...it's my lifeline! It has Food Lion grocery store on one end and a Family Dollar store on the opposite. In between is several businesses such as Domino's, Hwy 55, US Cellular, Chen's kitchen and a beauty supply store. I have done business at all of these places and 98% of the time they are good encounters. There's always the occasional mishap but more than not, it's good. They do a pretty good job at Food Lion at keeping their parking lot clear of litter and baskets. They are really big on customer service at this location. The parking lot as a whole is in pretty good shape but in front of Family Dollar is a really bad pothole. Its aged but well kept. I don't see a lot of loitering or unnecessary traffic in and out. It's a safe place to be. I go alone at night and don't worry at all. Like I said, it's our little lifeline so we don't have to travel all the way to Goldsboro or Mount Olive to some of the bigger stores. I gave it 4 out of 5 because of the age and wear and tear only. It could use a little love but otherwise, thumbs up!

Went there to eat at Hwy 55 restaurant. Was good as usual.
I can get my groceries and my toiletries all in one place. I can also get lunch or dinner there too.
