Three days later, I received a call letting me know my TV was done. My hip was out of joint and I asked if I could pick it up in a couple of days. He held true to this word, in another 2 days I was picking up my TV at the shop! I couldn’t believe it was done so quickly! David told me that it was just the backlight that had went out and that he had taken some preventative measures so it would not happen like that again. I didn’t know that preventative measures were a thing!

Northway TV & Electronics Repair was so affordable and fast! Samsung was going to charge me around $100.00 to $150.00 more! I saved money, which is always a great thing! I will be taking my other TV’s to the shop and only working with David! My hubby just won a 55’ Samsung Smart TV at work and David has already given me some helpful tips and tricks to keep it going for as long as possible! Lol We don’t win anything so I will do whatever I can to keep it going! I am going to tell all my friends and family about my great experience! Thank you so much, David!! You rock!

I received excellent service from Northway TV. I was told that my power supply was out on my Vizio by digital connects and that was absolutely not the problem. I took my power supply to Northway and they tested it and immediately discover that my power supply was not the problem. From their experience he came to the conclusion that it was my main board based on what I told him my tv was doing. I took my main board to Northway and they repaired it. My tv works perfectly. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY ONE!

I took my Samsung 37 in TV, which I used for a computer monitor, to Northway TV & Electronics Repair last week. I was extremely frustrated because at the time, I only had one monitor and with my job, you absolutely have to have two. Multitasking is a must for my freelance work.

I spoke with David, informing him of the problem but also of how important it is to have the equipment fixed immediately. My Samsung’s backlight had gone out even though it was a little over a year old. It just didn’t qualify for warranty! I was able to have sound but had absolutely no picture! I was terrified at how much it would cost me as I have always heard horror stories about the prices. I decided to take a chance and gave it to David. I was told that it normally can take 3 days if they have the part, up to 7 days if the part had to be ordered. That was fine with me. I need my monitor but sometimes I can barely get out of the house. I told David I had Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a very painful illness with no cure, and that I was concerned I might not get there right when he called! David quickly reassured me, saying that it would be no problem because I had 30 days. That gave me some piece of mind. I also found out that David was a disability advocate and that took away any doubt I had before! I decided to go for it!

Northway fixed my Samsung Tv at a price that was more than $200 cheaper than Samsung themselves.... Kept me up to date and game me several options. Recommend +++

Took my TV to Northway on Wednesday, noticed all the TVs in the shop that appeared to be out of operation. Some were the old projection TVs. This was an initial concern, so I asked the owner if he was a one-man shop. He said yes, but he could handle the additional work. Asked him how long it would take, he said he would call me later in the afternoon with an estimate, if he didn't call me, I should call him. He never called I called him and left a message. He finally called me Friday. He said he was out 1/2 day Thursday and all day Friday, because he had to take his father to the hospital. He gave me my estimate late Friday, then said he would have my TV ready Monday by 5. Monday at 5 came. I finally called him at 6. He still didn't have my TV ready, said it would be ready on Tuesday after lunch. Well I asked him if that meant 12:30, ipm , 1:30 or what. He said about 2:30 initially, then he said 3 PM. I called him at 3:10 PM on Tuesday. He actually got belligerent, and asked me why it was so important that I get my TV back. Asked if I understood that he was out for two days with his father at the hospital. Finally got my TV back Tuesday 6 days later. For the record I was a 1 man shop myself, so I am not upset that it took 6 days, I am upset that he didn't tell me it would take about 6 days during our initial conversation. One thing I learned is that your customers believe what you tell them. Customer satisfaction is more important that customer service.

I want to give this place no stars but unfortunately I don't have that option. This dude has had my tv FOR OVER A YEAR. Every time I call and ask for an update he says "oh I haven't touched it yet. I'll open it up and let you know. I'll call you tomorrow." Tomorrow never comes. Seriously, DON'T take your TV here.
