Thank you!
I would like to write a response to the previous review as I am the Seller and I have be a Client of Jane's for 5 years. She has been nothing shourt of professional, always working so hard. My house was on the market the same time as 5 in my sub division ans mine sold the quickest. I credit that to Jane. We had so mant showings he held a luncheon with local realtors to get the house well known. The problems ALL started with the "communitcation issues" with the other realtor. She was very nice and more than friendly; however I know I signed paperwork for the repairs the day we got the papers which was over. Jane emailed them as soon as they were signed, the other realtor had email issues... I don't want to make her seem unprofessional or sling mudd but there wa a lot of mis communication of that side as we noticed throught the sell of our home. As for the other petty stuff the buyer mentions it is ALL lies told by a bitter buyer with buyers remorse. Jane NEVER lied or yelled at the buyer. Also, the seller pays the comission. I tell all my friends about Jane... I wouldn't trust anyone else with something so important as buying or selling my home, and she has helped me with both.
------ In response to Jane's response. I did everything that she asked. I had the wallpaper torn down in all the bathrooms. I had the rooms repainted with the color that she recommended. William cut my lawn weekly and my neighbor always kept an eye on my house and took pictures for me after the lawn was cut. So you are a complete liar Jane. I was retiring from the Air Force and I relied on you and you failed. The previous guy that reviewed you was surely right when he said you were just short of a crook, but he should have stated that you are a liar too. And as for your statement about my house, "I can't wait for a bad listing to expire" (I'm sure you've deleted it by now) That will show all the people reading this google review how professional you really are. Don't let this woman fool you. After I hired another real estate agent, it was sold shortly after.
Great to work with.
At first I was very impressed by her timeliness for our appointments to come look at the house. She was always very courteous, but who wouldn't be courteous to try and gain your business. She made suggestions on what to do to the house like take the wall paper down and paint the bathrooms and the living room and master bedroom. I did all those things, well because she suggested it and it was a great suggestion. I would text her every now and again to get her opinion, but she just never got back to me unless I texted her again or called and left a message. One of the first things she said she would do was that she would have a luncheon with other agents to get my house some publicity with other agents. Well that never happened. 4 months went by and I asked her for a Comparative Market Analysis, guess what, I never got it. I called the "boss" and explained my concern and he stated he didn't understand why there would be problems because she was their #1 agent and she has sold or was in the process of closing on quite a few houses. Well a light bulb went off and I thought well maybe that was the problem...she wasn't available to give my house the attention it needed to get sold. I guess because of her success in other houses, mine lacked everything else. Anyways, our contract expired and I asked that she take the keys to a friend of mine's place of business. Guess what, after your contract expires, they just don't care anymore. I had to have another person go pick up the keys. I'm hoping the real estate agent I am getting now will not let me down. Never again will I hire someone without thorough research. Oh, and I almost forgot. My water bill was very high one month with no one living there so I called her and asked her to check on the house to make sure it wasn't flooded. Well, she sent her assistant to check on the house, but she didn't call me back. I finally got in contact with her 2 days later and her response was that she has been very busy, well, and my response was, I'm sorry you were busy, but I was concerned about my house being flooded. That is when I about lost it and couldn't wait for the contract to be up. I'm sorry Jane Bartlett for the negative review, but you just weren't involved in the sale of my house like you said you would be.
Jane Barlett was the Realtor for the home my wife and I purchased. We had pre-approval from bank and made offer on home she listed. We already had a Realtor so both were working together to iron out the details and get the home closed. After making an offer with Ernest money included and minor repairs within 12 hours Jane had come back with counter offer saying that they will accept selling price but the repairs would not be done (most of the requests of repair were from pet damage from previous owner) and she requested due diligence instead of Ernest money. I declined due diligence and then she accepted the normal Ernest money on the offer. The real troubles began half way into the sale after I had a home inspector and pest/termite come to the house and they found that there was mold in crawlspace, doors did not fit to frames and rotted wood around door in garage and AC was about to kick the bucket (wood around door was in first repair request). So after putting in a repair/replace request for doors, mold, bad wiring, vapor barrier, comb AC vents, and professional house cleaning I requested in due diligence form that sellers must respond before due diligence date or I walk. My Realtor tried to call and email Jane almost every day before due diligence period was up. No answer from Jane. I talked over with my wife and figured if they were not going to do the repairs we may want to get new AC unit so we had someone come out to give estimate. Sellers were upset because they said they did all the repairs we asked the day we asked them . Jane however withheld this information until the last day so I felt bad for the sellers. Bank was unable to close on time and closed about 5 business days late. At closing inspection we found that the house did not look professionally cleaned. Door still did not fit frame and was just remounted in in proper frame with an inch of weather stripping to block the light from coming in through the top. at the closing table she straight LIED to me and my wife when we requested the home cleaning to be done properly she said her sellers would pay an extra $30 fee for septic coverage on 1yr home warranty in leu of the cleaning done. After all papers were signed she accidentally commented that the sellers were required by law to pay the $30 and they had to pay it anyway. She argued with me the buyer the one about to pay her commish. in a very rude unprofessional manner the closing table. I later found out from my new neighbors that the cleaning crew had no water or electric to properly clean they kept hauling buckets from his hose. The door was never properly fixed. I don't know if it was on advise from Jane Bartlett to sell a home in such a manner or if the sellers did this. In any event if I were Jane I would have checked to make sure everything was up to par before the final inspection. She only returns calls/email when convenient for her she is rude, manipulative and a hair short of a crook.
She never showed up for our appointment or returned our phone calls
than she called and left a nasty message that my appointment wasnt till tuesday which was a lie because tuesday was my wedding anniversary so I would never make a appointment on that day do not call my phone again Jane you are very unprofessional
