A very nice atmosphere for family, friends, and good food. Restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly, caring, and passionate about there family own business. I would recommend everyone to eat here.
Keep it simple philosophy... Disposable plates and eating utensils, good "home cooked" food, homemade cakes... this is how I envision a country buffet! Add the attentive servers, reasonably priced meal, and sweet tea...I will definitely be back, and will bring others with me! I've only got one suggestion... corn bread is always good to have, but sliced bread would be awesome too! Need something to sop up the sauces and gravy!!
Wow... Food was excellent. Not that watered down "Southern country" cooking. They had "Soul food". The real thing. I loved everything I tried. Nearly hurt myself!!!
Buffet style-Home cooking, delicious desserts on the buffet bar as well. Clean! This place is huge! There is all kind of sections for small groups to extra large. They also cater outside of the restaurant large groups. They have bakery items at the front. They do take out but you may not get in and out quick because the line is usually the same as the people paying for the buffet bar. Parking lot is shared with other businesses so there is plenty of parking. Food is delicious!
Had to find some to pre-pay for our meal. Once settled in, we had a good experience here. This is a value experience: good food at reasonable prices.
The Bread of Heaven is a locals stop. Wayne County residence folks love all you can eat at good prices. The best deal remains the lunch hour. They are noted for both comfort and baked goods.
The serving bar was well stocked and fresh. I tastes a little bit of everything before returning for items that tasted like more.
