I have been taken my pets to dr. Silver the father for years.but now the son has the place and treats you like crap if you havent been taken your pets on every month.have horses that has been seen.but needed meds to calm them so feet can be trimmed and he refuses
I've been living in Goldsboro since 2004 and going to a different vet. I had an emergency arise with my dog Friday morning and my own veterinarian wouldn't see me until Monday. I called every single vet clinic in the Goldsboro area, every single one turned me down. My only option was looking like going to Raleigh animal hospital and spending $1-5k. These folks were TRIPLE booked and told me my wait would probably be long but they'd see me. I got there at my appointment time and was in a room within TEN MINUTES!! He got my baby all fixed up and now she’s bouncing all around the house back to her happy self, eating and drinking and everything is going to be just fine. Instead of spending over $1k, I spent less than $250!! I’ll take that any day. Needless to say I’ll be transferring our vet care to these folks. Thank you for taking us when no one else would. It means more than you know!
I gave been taking my pets to Dr.s Silver for years. Senior Dr. Silver took care of my daughter's dog when he had to have hip surgery. Even though my daughter has moved out of state Dr. Silver ALWAYS ask about Marco and how he is doing. I have seen both doctors and like them both. Jr. Dr. Silver was very compassionate when we had to put my dog Angel down. He gave me options and was honest when I asked his opinion (she had a fast growing tumor on her throat that was starting to suffocate her...she would have died a horrible death). I have three dogs under their care and trust their judgement and expertise. Prices may be higher than some but you get what you pay for. If you own pets you know there will be expenses but you can't put a price on love.
I've brought all three of my cats here at one time or another, and I have to say this is the best place I've ever visited. I came in one day when one of my cats was a kitten, and she'd been throwing up. Dr. Silver Jr. was so nice and explained all of our options. He offered to send us home with some cheaper medicine to get her through her sick spell, or we could let her stay at the hospital. She was at the hospital for three days, and they took excellent care of her. I brought an old, fat cat to them who needed a shave, and he came back to me confused, but with really nicely trimmed nails and all the mats on his fur gone. I even brought him a tiny kitten, and the staff were just as in love with his little face as I was. They are an excellent company, and your pets will be in good hands.
