I've traveled from TX a 20 hour drive to choose to say at this location as I've done 3 other times in the past year. This review is solely based on the hospitatility and Customer service I received today. Overall the Hotel is not run down you get what is advertised minus the amazing Customer Service in my case. For those tha t maybe wondering why these thing's were said, here is your answer I've worked for One of the Major Hotel chain and I know how the Hotel check-in process should go.. (1st hand experience)
Saw mouse in dining area. Presence may have been due to ongoing rennovations. Stayed on 4th floor. Water stain in ceiling. Probably due to roof leak. Furniture looks old and used. Dust accumulated on edge of carpet closest to walls in the room and hallway. Desk personnel not friendly. Beyond these shortcomings, stay for 1 night was ok.
Booked my room for 2 adults 1 child, 2 queen sized beds, non-smoking room. My complaint is not with the staff or the quality of the room, but with the lack of military discounts, in light of how they advertised within the hotel about their support for the military.
I booked same day of stay, which I expected might push my rate higher. It was Memorial Day weekend, also a reason to push the rate higher. When I asked about military discounts and was told there weren't any, it rubbed me the wrong way when I saw the evidence of their supposed support for the military. There's sign up in a hallway near the front desk thanking Seymour Johnson AFB for existing, and in the main lobby there's a little wooden note box where you can leave a note of thanks for military members... That's all great. So why no discount for military members or vets? Seems like a great way to support military members and vets, especially when our very basic room went for $140 ($156 with tax).
I reserved a room for my wife and i for our anniversary to surprise her. check in was fine i went to the room for 2 minutes to see it then left to go home and and get my wife we arrived around 7:00pm well by 9:30 or so my i called down for towels and i went to get them and the clark was rude i brushed it off. Well a lil later my wife called down to say something about the fridge not working and the clark said there was no one to fix it. The clark was very rude so my wife told her she will deal with the clark when a manager comes in the morning. The next thing i know the cops are at our door and told us the clark said my wife threatened her and we had to leave the property I called today and of course no manager was in but what's funny is the clerk said there has been that issue before when the night clerk was on duty that she is a very rude person I'll be trying again tomorrow to get my money back considering I paid $210 to spend a few hours in a hotel room 145 for the room a $25 deposit that they are not refunding me and they said I stole 4 towels so they charged me $40 like I am so poor that I need to steal used towels from a hotel is disgraceful I'll keep everybody updated if I get my refund back o i just looked. On there website and thay offer a military program.. I gave them my military id when i checked in and i was told there was no military discounts
Nite before Christmas & wedding anniversary was a horrible night because the Night time receptionist was rude to us when we reported of non working fridge and safety handle was missing out of the bath tub. No towels. She refused to get management and help us. She lied about being threatened to get us ecorted off the property. No management in charge nor repair man. I expect full refund! Poor service. She deserves to be fired!
